Milestone Moments: Honoring 100 years of chocolate.

To commemorate Russell Stover's 100 years of crafting delicious chocolates, we were tasked with creating a special logo for the celebration. The goal was to design a logo that was bold, branded, and centennial focused. The size and weight of the number "100" gives it prominence and the copper stroke adds an air of class and sophistication. Overall, the logo serves as a fitting tribute to 100 years of sweet success for Russell Stover.

Russell Stover needed a bold, versatile 100-year logo that honored their heritage and resonated with consumers. The design had to clearly communicate the centennial milestone and work seamlessly within a toolkit for various mediums, with each element strong enough to stand alone.

Brand Strategy

Fewer than 1% of companies reach 100 years, and Russell Stover needed a bold milestone logo to celebrate. The design had to pair seamlessly with the RS script wordmark and be versatile enough for multiple iterations while maintaining its identity.

Logo & Tool Kit Design

We began by creating 100-year logo concepts using brand imagery and the “years of sweet moments” tagline, exploring ribbon shapes and type treatments in Gotham. Stronger logos were refined to fit various design spaces, while patterns, social flags, and stickers completed the celebratory toolkit.

Lifestyle Mock Ups

After refining, we narrowed to two logo directions and created mockups across mediums like social, apparel, and product. This highlighted logo strength, legibility, and versatility. The final choice—a bold, simplified "100"—embodied confidence, ready for Russell Stover's celebration.
